About Beth
Beth Downs was trained and certified in 2008 as an Etiquette and Leadership Consultant by The Etiquette & Leadership Institute in Athens, Ga., formerly a division of the Protocol School of Washington. Mrs. Downs is a native of Valdosta, Ga. and has been teaching social dance and etiquette programs for 12 years. She graduated from Valdosta High School in 1996, and attended the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga., while pursuing a degree in Music Performance from 1996 until 1998. Mrs. Downs studied ballroom dance while at UGA and was a member of the Ballroom Company there. She also taught social dance and etiquette with Perfectly Polished, Inc., The Etiquette School while living in Athens.
From 1998 until 2000, Mrs. Downs taught Social Dance and Etiquette courses in Valdosta while attending VSU. She graduated from VSU in 2000 with a BA in Communication Arts and lived in Marietta, Ga., until 2006 when she returned to Valdosta. Since 2000, Mrs. Downs has offered wedding planning, social dance instruction, and etiquette programs as a consultant.
